Maybe I am wrong, but in my opinion, if you have some results and
write a paper, and you have 70% sure it will be accepted
I mean since you've worked on this area for a while and
have a fair good understanding of the area, you would be able to
tell if your result is good or not.
The rest 30% is depends on other factors. if your boss is well known
or has good connections, then you are almost sure it will be published.
otherwise, it would probabily give you -30%, which leaves you 40%
chance. Just
