if you took the course of physics optics, you will see how the patterns are different from each other. one of them is the fourier transform of the source.
I have not take that course yet. But this is the problem I need to finish urgently. So basically, the Fourier transforms of different pictures at different distance can be used to predict the focal point, am I right? So I can take FFT of each image and compare, but what is the target? I mean the fourier transform of the actual source which I dont know. Thanks.
