平时跟好人没什么两样，就是在床上翻身换姿势，或从床上下来，搞不对了左边的腰－
－屁股上方一个点（很深），放射
疼，会疼得俺熬熬叫，出一身冷汗，（不是肌肉疼也不是骨头疼，觉得象是根筋疼）受
不了了，也不知是不是坐骨神经
疼，腰椎键盘突出什么的，打算去看看医生。大虾给说说这是怎么回事，去看医生的话
看什么科，这两个词怎么说，多

为什么版上都说要呆5年才算resident？我看publication 519上面
说只要满足
Substantial Presence Test就可以了。Substantial Presence Test上面没说要5年啊

be physically present in the United States on at least:

连续几天，加拿大Saskatchewan省连续出现极端天气，先是龙卷风袭击该省的Moose
Jaw地区，随后全省多个地区停电，但更神奇的是龙卷风过后，该省多地出现神奇的
Mammatus cloud。

我是今年8月毕业的，本来要在我们学校的CAREER Link 上发些简历去申请ON-CAMPUS
INTERVIEW或FULL-TIME。但90%的工作机会我都无法申请，说我NOT-QUALIFIED，因为身
份，毕业时间，等。基本所有的公司都要求今年年末以后毕业的。真郁闷！有人跟我情
况类似吗？

由于没有芯片测试结果，但是仿真还不错，所以投了一个不一定要芯片测试结果的
journal.
今天收到总编的decision, 是major revision. 这是不是还算有戏？
大概看了一下reviewer的意见，有两个提到在我给出的table of comparison中比较的
是和有芯
片测试结果的paper的比较，可能不fair. 然后希望我能提供必要的experimental
validation.
但问题是我这个设计根本没有时间流片了（因为要快毕业了）。不知道这种情况怎么向
reviewer
解释这个问题比较合理的。

坐骨神经疼 = sciatica
腰椎键盘突出 = herniated disc
I think it is sciatica. In most cases a general practitioner will be able
to give a diagnosis.

Sorry I've no Chinese input now.
Major revison is not bad, very possible can be accepted if you stress the
reviewer's concern.
If no time to fab, you can find some excuses first, e.g, the time schedule
is pretty tight and the funding is not enough. In addition, maybe it is
helpful that you give a layout graph in the paper, and provide the post-
layout simulation results. You can also tell the reviewer during the post-
layout simulation, all the parasitic resistance, capacitance and inductance
of

不是吧，我当年就是major revison，reviewer让回答20多个question，我以为有戏呢
，花了一个月，仿真到作图，推公式，最后人家review了3个月，照样据了。
当年也投过一个只有仿真的paper，review的回答很简单，现在的circuit design，光
有仿真结果是没啥说服力的。考，测量的也有可能作假呀。

那道不至于。我只是觉得申请的LINK都没开，机会都没有。因为在学校的网上比公众的
可信度高。我目前在INDIANA州。

其实这个也看运气了, 遇到比较nice的reviewer和AE,就容易很多; 有的人很tough, 甚
至想故意挑些毛病拒你也实在没办法.
不过我还是觉得major revision希望还是很大的, 我的一篇也是major revision, 写了
快20张纸回答了30多个问题, 还是接收了. 最重要的是让reviewer和AE看到你花了精力
仔细研究他们的comment并且很认真的改了paper, 这样就给他们看了你的诚意,多半
reviewer会同意发表的.
