我的父母和我姐姐目前住在中国一个省会城市。我住在旧金山湾区。我们在努力应对这
个消息。
我父亲66岁，身体健康。
他的TPSA是超过100。他的fPSA是16.86。骨扫描出来呈阴性。在未来几天会做CT扫描淋
巴结。
前列腺癌在中国不普遍。在我父母所在省做的手术很少。
我想把我父亲的前列腺穿刺活检标本发送到约翰霍普金斯大学的乔纳森•爱泼斯
坦博士Dr. Jonathan Epstein复审。有没有人熟悉的国际航运前列腺穿刺活检标本？
手术，放疗，激素治疗，我们应该怎么办？
我的姐姐正在联系北京有前列腺癌治疗经验的医院。我希望把我父亲接到我这里在旧金
山湾地区的前列腺癌专科医院治疗。有没有人可以推荐湾区好的医院和医生吗？我的爸
爸在美国没有医疗保险。有没有人知道在美国没有医疗保险的前列腺癌治疗费用？

第二届 IET 国际雷达会议将于 2013 年 4 月 14 日到 16 日在西安召开。大会旨在介
绍雷达领域的最新技术进展和学术研究热点，特别是民用雷达技术的研究成果和应用，

IET International Radar Conference 2013 -- Call for Papers
IET International Radar Conference 2013 will be held on 14-16 April 2013 in
Xi’an, China. This is the second IET International Radar Conference after
the first one which was successfully held on April 2009 in Guilin, China.
The aims of the conference are to introduce the latest technological
development and academic research hot spots of the radar technology,
especially the latest research achievements and applications
of civilian radar technology. It will provide a communication platform for
domestic and foreign radar experts and technicians. All accepted papers will
be published in the conference proceedings, indexed by EI Compendex, IET
Inspec and IEEE Xplore.
Excellent papers selected by the conference will be recommended for
publication in IET Journal-Radar, Sonar and Navigation and Science China
Information Sciences.

前列腺癌在中国不普遍。
This is untrue. It has always been claimed by Chinese health authorities
that the incidence is 20 times lower than in the U.S. But most of these
claims are political without data to support. The same claims are also in
colon cancer, coronary disease and lung cancer etc., but some
epidemiologists start to acknowledge the truth is the opposite in many of
these diseases.
Contrary to what is often seen in neuropathology, there are very few
prostate cancer cases that are pathologically ambiguous (including Gleason
grading).
Decision on prostate cancer treatment is extremely personal. Most patients
don't want their families to get involved too much in their deliberation ("
do I want to have an aggressive surgery risking losing sexual functions?" "
do I want to keep my sexual functions risking a faster cancer progression?")
It's simply too embarrassing either way for them to discuss with other
people.
