不好意思哦，我上网研究了好半天OPT的事情，还有几个没有弄清楚，问问大家：
1.如果7月7日毕业，申请8月1日OPT开始，如果7月7日到8月1日间收到EAD卡，那么这段
时间还算不算grace period？还是算作OPT approval？
2.申请8月1日OPT开始，如果卡是7月份寄出来的，那么starting date会是7月做好卡的
那天，还是自己要求的8月1日？

我记得好像说过一个朋友要和老公离婚的事情，就是公公婆婆管的太多，什么都要管，
吃什么都要管，还不准放盐，然后朋友希望和公公婆婆分开住，公公婆婆说没良心，不
要他们。于是就闹大了，然后说到离婚。
离婚的事情最后没成，个公公婆婆最后妥协了。
这个朋友还有一个受不了的是，公公婆婆喜欢听房，不准他们夫妻多搞，有时候想夫妻
亲热一下，老人家就来敲门，说注意休息。
那开始的性趣全没了，经常会这样，搞得他们过夫妻生活很压抑，因为外面的老家伙是
随时在一样的，随时会敲门。
有时候就算不敲门，也不知道外面有没有人，所以做起来都没了性趣。到了这一两年，
几乎是没什么亲热活动了。
没亲热活动，夫妻感情会受到严重的英雄。
我觉得他们夫妻感情不好，除了公公婆婆的原因外，还是和两口子很久没有亲热活动有
关。没有经常一起亲密接触，感情当然不会好。
可是说到底，又是这公公婆婆造成的，是他们听房造成的。

按照转入的年份收入算!
However, there could be a few complications, I could think of the following:
1) Is the fund from a deductible or non-deductible IRA account? This could
impact your cost basis.
2) Will this push you into higher tax bracket?
3) Do you have any other tax deductions or tax credits to use to offset the
resulting income and/or tax?

是啊，Linux下不太一样，直接在nbase下make没有目标，configure已经指定host和CC
，结果ld找不到库，nbase下的libnbase.a不知道为什么没识别。

会回答你所有opt的问题
另外opt需要提前2－3个月申请的说

Don't think you are tough, but do think your grade distribution is uncommon.
Too many As and Cs.

算grace period，可以滞留美国，不能出去了再进来，不可以受雇

I used absolution score: >90 A, <80 C.
Those C students, many do not turn in homeworks.

That is about I have, and a little bit less. I use mean+standard dev as A
cutoff, mean-stadev as D cutoff, B and C in between.

如果你syllabus上写了就是这么给分，那么最后就应该这么给，学生可以接受往上的
curve，往下curve是万万不行的。
不过80分以下全是C不太公平，根本不给D和F，79和9拿一样的成绩，2分也可以pass，
学生也太幸福了。

如果是AP的话，teaching最重要的是保护自己，其他都是次要。
找个系里德高望重的老家伙问问——先别说你这个分布，更别show出成绩（b/c of the
stupid FERPA），先问他觉得应该是啥分布，按他说的做

70~60 is D below 60 is F.

这是很标准的评分方式，procedurally 没有问题。
不过得A的比例还是很高，说明考试和作业太容易了，或者给分太松了。

Yes.
I will improve in the future. However, I found by giving good scores,
students tend to study harder and attend the classes more often. They showed
more interest in the class.

Is this a graduate class or undergrade? If it is a graduate one, the
distribution should be totally fine in my opinion.

others wrote things like "great lectures"... I am developing my educational
philosophy through teaching.
I think a good teaching should let students enjoy learning and thinking.
However, I still gave 5 C+ to my students... I feel that I might be too
tough.
