learned a lot from this crazy place, in economics, there is
no equality, there is first class economics, 2nd class economics...
your schools told you that?

Yes, and he went further to prove transitional economics especially
transitional economics in china is the lowest of all.

1. Some economists are better than others, and some economic issues are more
interesting than others. But it doesn't necessarily follow that we have to
cram into the places where the now-best economists are. People should use their
comparative advantage, and study things that they are interested in. Thus they
get the highest utility from research.
2. Why should people always say things like "Lucas classified economists in
5 levels"? Even Lucas said this, so what? An economist can be super smart

Glad to know there are "noble" AMERICAN economists who are also interested
in Chinese economy, especially in agricultrual economics.
My advisor who is a very successful finanical economist(BTW, American of course,
else some ids here will show great pity on me why choose a chinese to be your
advisor:)))))
go to China at least twice a year. I am not surprised to hear that there
are americans who have exhibited tremendous enthusiasm in China and chinese
economy.
I've always been interested in Chine
