Candidates must have hands-on experience in database programming and Web
application development. Basic statistics and data analysis knowledge is
required. Prior experience of working with large-scale databases and/or
data warehouses and ColdFusion programming are preferred.

3月19日，厦门大学2009年科研工作会议隆重举行，朱崇实校长作了题为《强化创新意
识提升科研水平推动高水平研究型大学建设》的报告，副校长吴世农宣读了《厦门大
学关于表彰2008年度科研业绩突出的个人和单位的决定》。
WISE在2008年科研成果丰硕，在Journal of Econometrics, Economic Theory，
Econometric Theory, Economics Letters, Econometric Reviews 等经济学、金融学
和统计学国际顶尖刊物上发表英文论文15篇，在《经济学动态》、《经济管理》、《税
务研究》等国内核心学术期刊上发表中文论文18篇。
在2009年科研工作会议上，WISE共19篇学术论文受到表彰，其中英文论文14篇，5篇被
SSCI收录（全校被SSCI收录论文共18篇），1篇被SCI收录。此外，学校统计结果显示，
WISE超额完成科研经费任务，完成任务比例居全校文科单位第一，科研业绩居全校文科
单位第三。在会议上，WISE作为2008年科研业绩突出单位受到了学校的表彰。
