Hehe, so I'm not the only one who thinks "as time goes by" is a little bit
sentimental? In a more formal exposition, perhaps "with the progress of
time" would be more appropriate, or "with temporal progression" for extra
pompousness. Haha!
There is (was?) also a British comedy with the same title. It's one of
only a few shows (besides Conan O'Brien!:) I miss since giving up TV.
