我觉得自己的问题都好土啊...不管了...
比如:i did not see your email yesterday. i just/only saw that this early
morning.
当only和just解释为"只/不过"的时候,是完全可以互换的么? 本句用哪个好,涉及语言
习惯么? 我怎么觉得just好呢...

这里just是"才"的意思吧.好像没法用only.

only有adverb/considered as happening very recently的意思.

但是好像没听人这么说过.
如果有人这么说,一样可以解释为"仅仅",就混了.

only是“只有“的意思。强调唯一性。
而just 本意是指公正，不是指唯一。可以翻译为刚刚，仅仅。

Look up any dictionaries, you will find that just 和公正有关
In legal terms, they will say something like "fair and just claims." 在这里
是形容词，但做副词的时候本意不会变化太多。only ,as we all know, means "only
” For instance, she is the only girl I like. So, "only" means no one else.
When it is used as a adv, its meaning should be associated with its root
meaning.

Yes, I think so 2.
However, from dictionay "only" can take the meaning of
"not long ago".
In pratice, I have never seen anyone uses
"I only saw her this morning" to express the meaning of
"I just saw her this morning".

I noticed it as well. Only and just are interchangable sometimes. For that
, I think English people sometimes were confused by the two words as well.
Later on, this mistake was legitimazed and became norm. Haha.
