版上诸位好像都工作了，你们觉得找工作的话，phD和master有什么区别？

个人感觉master比phD好找，我们系里的master都是7,8个offer一拿地

进公司工作的话,硕士学位就够了,做consult,包括设计. 其实本科学位也都够了,重要
的是经验. PhD出来一般都是在大学,国家实验室,或者大公司的研发部门.

今年我们系master好像也找得一般，phd倒是还好，往年据说master很好找

我感觉ms和phd找工作差不多。
考虑到engineering的phd一般比较快，如果国内有ms了，读一个phd也不错。

I'm on the job market now, really feel PhD is not a plus. If I could have
gone back, I would have traded the years in PhD with work experience. MS is
definitely enough. During all my phone interviews, I was asked about this "
why PhD" type of questions.

it's true. I was told they don't need PhD to do the work during my interview.
