先说一下背景。我妈在我上大学的时候去世了，所以我出国的时候父母的名字一直填我
爸爸和继母的姓名，也就是说，母亲一栏填继母的名字。后来在这边结婚，结婚证上母
亲的姓名也是填的继母。当时的想法，这样爸爸和继母来美国探亲也方便些，而且，他
们也的确来过美国，待了6个月就回去了。
现在要办出生公证，公证处的意思，生母是生母，继母是继母，公证上只能写生母，然
后注明已去世。
现在怎么办呢？这样就显的我的材料不consistent 呀，会不会追究责任？
不知道版上的有经验的大拿有什么建议？谢谢。

如果只是对你，继续填继母的好了。但心里多念念你妈。
另外如果以后你给你爸妈办理他们的绿卡，会发现他们的不一致。可能会比较麻烦些。

I know for a consulting firm to profit, usually they ask the client an
hourly rate of more than 3 times of what the employee actually earns.
I guess that'll give you some idea of what the client is willing to pay.

楼上的意思是，如果以后还有要求填母亲的表格，还是填继母作为母亲，虽然出生公证
上是生母的名字？
他们的绿卡，如果将来有那么一天需要办的话，可不可以这样，先办我爸爸的，然后通
过他们的婚姻关系办继母的。只是时间会长一些。当然，他们将来未必会想要办绿卡。

要这样想。重新open就要重新hard pull, 不算折腾的时间和精力，
还不如去申请张信用卡
