Just got a letter.
We have reviewed your qualifications in light of our current needs and
although your credentials are quite impressive, we will not be moving
forward with the interview process at this time. Your resume will be kept
on file for one year and we will contact you should a position become
available that is a suitable match.
Is it a hiring freeze, or I was just "politely" rejected?

被据不怕就怕整个来个hiring freeze
这个周一刚刚HR电话了一番，末了很希望我是有绿卡的，最后说肯定会再联系你的。不
过也很安慰了，至少还有牛公司（我个人认为，呵呵）承认自己的能力。
看来年前工作是没指望了。
