according to my over 30 times' reviewing and around 30 times'
submission experiences, there are only four reasons for rejecting or being
rejected.
(1) you aim too high;
(2) your research has some serious flaws;
(3) your writing is bad;
(4) the reviewer is a nerd and the editor agrees with him.
You should take the responsibility for the first three.
only the fourth one should make you upset.
but you can still argue with the editor if you strongly think you are right.
