These are questions I have asked.
What is your expectation for the new hiring? Specifically, you want to make
the current research areas in the department stronger, or you want to add
some new research areas.

The other question is what level of collaboration among faculty in the
department. as a new faculty, i would like to join other research project
and collaborate with other faculty to apply for grants and projects.
