夫妻双方都有工作，年龄奔三，男方收入略高于女方，结婚时间3年多，没有小孩。都
是刚从学校毕业不久，男方工作了大半年，女方几个月，家里没有多少积蓄，更别提房
产了。这种情况在美国一般男方付给女方多少抚养费？
另外，假如要按收入的差额给抚养费，通常有无时间限制，比如要付若干年，还是终身，还是付到女方再婚？抚养费的数额是否随着将来双方收入的变化而变化？

If the woman already got a job and the pay is not too much different from
the man's, then there really wouldn't be much 抚养费 if any.

no, you still need to pay because law protect divorced woman.

That's not true. I have seen cases of women paying men because the women
make more money

男方收入略高于女方
what the hell do you need 抚养费?
to protect layoff?
even if there is some, probably half the difference and you lose your
dignity

half to half是什么意思？
是指离婚后，双方收入相加后对半分，也就是男方付给女方收入差额的一半？
如果是现有家庭财产的分割对半分，本来就没多少可分的。

The law only protects the financially weaker ones, doesnt matter if it is
the man or woman

yes, I also think that it would be a plain divorce without the alimony if
you two are making similar salaries and there is no kid involved. The law
protects children and consider the well-being of children to be with their
biological mother. It would be rediclous to think that the husband should be
paying the wife money when she is financially stable herself.

however, I do think that she would get half the money made by both in the
term of marriage, if they did not have a pre-nup. According to TV soaps, the
alimony will stop until the girl remarries. I like the system in US and
think that china would enforce the same to dig out the secret accounts and
grey income and protect children.
