What are the eligibility requirements for the 17-month extension of post-
completion OPT?
The student must have a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree included
in the STEM Designated Degree Program List.
The student must currently be in an approved post-completion OPT period
based on a designated STEM degree.

previously available to STEM students (see 73 FR 18944). Eligible students
may now apply for a 24-month STEM OPT extension.

1. 本科专业的CIP code是多少？和 Master 一样吗？是STEM专业的code吗？
2. 现在是在用Master专业的OPT吗？如果是，那么本科的好像就不能申了。OPT
Extension是你在用的那个OPT的延长。你现在已经搬家了，还想在以前住过的房子上盖
二层楼，这个是不行的…………
