我的H1-B 签证6年到期，目前还在海外外派，有三年没在美国，所以准备续签证。公司
的律师讲从政府的角度讲续现在的签证和申请新的签证没什么太大的区别，建议用
Consular
Notification 申请今年十月开始的 H-1B 。 但在我看来是有很大的区别的，因为申请
新的 H1-B 会有 Cap 的问题，申请的人多就要抽签，抽签就有可能申请不到。
所以我在想是不是律师觉得续签证的paper work 比申请新的签证要麻烦，或者公司想
把我留在海外才提出申请新的签证，感觉申请新的签证很有风险啊，也不知道这个
Consular Notification 是个什么东东，请各位兄弟姐妹给些建议，谢谢！

我也是被这个理由据了。我是4月份已经把卡关掉了，都没用。一般关卡多久才可以清
楚历史纪录？

买portable的吧，不用另接电源，而且非常小，非常轻
非portable的WD Elements, 前段时间好像有过$100的deal

容量的话，见仁见智了，我觉得640G对我来说暂时都够了，1.5T摆那也是浪费
倒是重量，大小之类的我更关心

律师不合格，续H1B不占用名额，申请还要抽奖。如果海外工作多年，完全可以走L1.

If you will continue 在海外外派, you don't need H1 visa status at all. No
need to renew.
If you mean that you now will back to work inside USA. Just first get H1
visa stamp with the employment letter (to show VO), then enter USA and then
company files H1 extension and recapture the 3 years of H1 time (you were
out of USA).

人家是说，等拿到卡才算申请成功了（其实也不能保证能拿到75000）。
CSR告诉你批了，不一定就靠谱。

多谢各位，我当然是想回美国了，所以希望保持移民签证。
公司办理移民事务的人说我的情况适用于 Cap Exemption ，不需要抽奖，不知道靠谱
