父母务农，无房产证、无存款证明，签证之前准备资料，LD说MIT上给的经验不多。这
次B2签证顺利通过，就总结一个也好给其他准备签证的农民父母提供个经验。

went back to China in 2012 and had a great time with my parents and my
sisters. I could not go back to China and reunite with them this year due to
the intense Ph.D. study and research. I invited them to visit me this
summer so that we can spend some time together for the best season here.
Both my parents and I agree that this is a good time for them to take a two-
month tour in U.S. They have not been to U.S. before, and I really want to
show them how my almost ？？？ years’ work and life look like here. Besides
that, I plan to take them to visit some places in nearby cities and couple
big cities, such as ？？？. I will pay for their flights and all the
expenses. My parents will stay in U.S. for about two months and go back to
China in August due to the farm work in my hometown in the fall. And, I need
focus on my study after summer as well. I believe that it will be one of
the most wonderful summers for my parents and me to remember forever.

另外，160表上父母职业那一栏不要选“unemployed”,就算是务农也是职业，直接选“
self-employed”,工作地址就写家里地址就行，工资收入就填父母人均收入，不要太少
，不然签证官觉得挣这么少还出去旅游，不太可信。我们是自己资助父母，也就没让父
母准备资金证明用的是我们那一万的存款证明。如果存款不多的话，可以就填玩两个月
，来待两个月，一万块钱也够了。
签证的时候，最重要是自信，说话要清楚声音大，面带微笑，穿的体面一些，给VO留个
衣食富足的印象。轮到了，就把所有资料拿出来，摆在柜台上，VO要啥方便直接找。父
母签证上去就直接递的邀请函，其他什么都没看。问了一个问题：你们有几个孩子？父
答：三个，一个在老家，一个在苏州，一个在美国。VO哈哈笑了，把父亲也逗坏了，心
想：你以为我在说笑话吗！VO忙着敲键盘，也没再问问题，父亲着急了， 掏出来资金
证明问：这个你要不？VO拜拜手说不要。然后就说，一周左右去领签证吧。从开始排队
到出来也就一个多小时就结束了。
马上就要来美国了，这是第一次坐飞机，希望一切顺利！同时，祝其他准备签证的父母
顺利！
