还有一种说法我觉得也对：A#有多种，没有140的A#，其它的A#也可用，就是帮助移民
局容易查到你的档案。
在I-693体检表的说明上有：A# is your alien registration file numer. If you
are not sure if you have one, look at any letters or notices you have
received from the DHS. Look for a number that begins with a letter "A" and
is followed by 8 or 9 numbers.
