I was thinking to make an appointment for infopass just now, and checked
uscis status. To my surprise, there was soft update today and showed as "
card ordered". I even didn't receive email notification for it.
Here is the history:
Jan, 2009 eb1 140 submitted (NSC)
June, 2009, 485 submitted.
Aug, 2009 140 approved.
Oct, 2009 485 transferred to NBC and then local office.
Dec, 2009 received notification for interview. requested to reschedule, as
it was one day before Xmas.
Feb, 2010 went to interv

Lawyer hired by company did the work. I even didn't have chance to see the petition. Not DIY.
computer engineering, Ph.D, working in a research group in a big company.
I think I claimed: publication, citation, paper review(conference committee).
I have 4 or 5 journal papers, around 15 conference papers. Citation is just OK. More than 10 review requests and several conference committee members.
I have seen cases with weaker background got approved, with stronger background got rejected or RFE'd.
