找到工作了，想退掉postdoc的职位，
如果不入境，是否还要受服务两年的限制，
如果入境，然后去报道了，但短期内又中断回国，时候也要受那个两年的限制？

不入境, not subject, because you are/were NEVER in J1 status.
入境 and get a J1 I-94, you are subject to it, even if you return to China
the next day.

Once you enter USA in J1 status, it will follow you. 报道 or not does not
matter.
"no objection letter" type of waiver cannot be done in china, and you need
to work for the IGA sponsor for "IGA" type, maybe you need to go through
extraodrinary hardship type of waiver. (but it usually means you need to
have US spouse or children living in US)
