老妈和妹妹一家在亚特兰大。姐姐（公民）在底特律给老妈办绿卡，上周末移民局通知
３月１７日在底特律打指模。
一来老人家年近８０了，去不了几天就要飞回来，太折腾了；二来老姐一家都很忙，她
必须请假照顾老妈，真不方便。
请问各位是否知道有可能改在亚特兰大的移民局打指模？

As long as your local office agrees to do it for you, it should be fine.
But it might be extra work for your local office so it depends on the
staff there. There was one successful case reported here earlier. Best
luck!
