照着领事馆主页上的文件清单准备了所有文件和复印件，没想到还是被刁难了。
首先是要护照，不但要当前有效的，过期的护照也要。
这也罢了，毕竟能找到。
然后又问俺们有没有办绿卡。俺就老实说，140批了，等排期呢。于是被告知去移民局
的网站打印绿卡申请状态。回来之后去移民去网站琢磨了半天，唯一能打印的就是“On
xx xx, xxxx, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I140
IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER."...不知道打这个行么？回头拿去会不会被认
为已经有绿卡了？
有没有有过同样经历的能给点建议？

The Texas Service Center has approved the following
I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker
that had been filed under the Premium Processing Service:
RD: 06/06/11
Approval Date: 06/18/11
Background:
1. PhD materials science
2. papers: 8 (citation 60)
3. patents: 9 (one commercialized, 8 pending)
4. review: 25 from 11 journals
tips:
1. you will do 90+% of the work, lawyers may add to final touch;
2. hired lawyer Y, pissed off and went DIY;
3. use mitbbs and 精华版, many people are very helpful;
4. when ask for reference letters, one very nasty guy (JFScott of England)
rejected my request with garbage language. Be polite and reasonable; move on
if refused.

领事馆或者使馆的主页上没有提要140的批件。以前在芝加哥领事馆办的时候也没要。
H1b的批件是带了的。

No. I avoided mentioning numbers, but focused on the most notable citations.
A few papers were on top journals of my field. One paper was intensively
cited by a paper by industry leading company's technical director and
president of another leading company. Several other publications (from
former group, so not necessarily independent) was directly based on my
research and application focused. Dig the value.
