本人上个月初onsite，几天后我的recruiter打电话说恭喜我，hiring committee已经
决定要我了，现在只要等executive committee批下来。我听说一般hiring committee
只要要人基本没什么问题就耐心的等。过了几天recruiter又打电话说可能需要一点时
间因为现在是年末很多事情还不确定。等到现在已经一个半月了还是没消息。
请问我是被fail了吗？现在是不是需要找别的工作？我面的地点比较偏可能没有其他的
选择。真的从没听说过这种事情，居然发生在我头上。。

But still show "Fix Errors" Page!!
Fix Errors
You have attempted to certify an application that does not have all of the
suggested fields completed. It is recommended that all suggested fields be
completed in order to expedite the application process.
Please click the Fix Errors button below and you will be taken the the Form
Checklist for a listing of the forms that have errors. Any form that has
incomplete suggested fields will be in the alert section at the top of the
page. Select the link for that form from the form checklist to fix the
suggested fields for that form.
To continue with certification process, select the Certify Form button.
Please note that forms with suggested fields may delay processing your
application.

我认识的一个人和你情况一样，9月底onsite，一周后被告知hiring committee顺利通
过，等待executive review结果。但是10月中下旬被告知executive review没通过。这
种情况据说罕见。It's just bad timing.

今年executive据的人比往年多似的，我也是过了hc之后杯具了，还听说了几个相似的
例子。之前都觉得过了hc就基本没问题了。可能是上半年招人太猛，年底headcount太
紧张了。

我觉得两手准备是可以的，不要在一条绳子上吊死。当然，你的希望应该挺大的，要多
跟recruiter交流，最好知道executive hiring committee的反馈意见吧。
我也是9月底面试，然后过了hiring committee，而且面试感觉很好，觉得没问题了。
但还是被executive hiring committee卡住了。不知道他们讨论的情况，自我感觉应该
不是bordline，可能也许因为是PHD，且不是CS的，然后executive hiring committe提
的意见是建议去某某组(跟我博士期间的background相关的组)，如果有head count就收
我。
个人感觉也许是因为上半年招的太多了，到下半年就有点卡人，估计还是跟head count
有关系。
就这样等了1个半月(从onsite到拿到offer)，最后跟某某组的hiring manager聊了一次
，才拿到的offer。当然
，期间发现google hiring过程很不顺利，然后又开始很积极的找工作，然后拿到了另
一个offer以及几个onsite，不过最后都没去。我觉得两手准备是需要的，只是防着in
case......
希望我这样的情况，能给等offer的人一些例子。
