我的大致情况如下，
刚开始postdoc，现在有6篇已发表的英文paper （5篇一作），他引大约15个吧，另
外有3篇一作英文文章年底前应该能刊出；会议presentation/abstract有8个；中文
文章有6篇（1篇一作），他引30个左右，CNKI显示下载次数共有1600多；另外有中国
专利5个，不过都是排名在第四第五发明人的，这些专利拒我了解的也没用到实际生产
中；审稿的话现在有16个，年底应该还能
增加到25个左右吧；然后有三个专业协会的得奖，主要是abstract或presentation得
到的。
感觉自己的情况或许也可以尝试NIW，可又担心万一NIW没通过，不就拖延了排期时间
，同时认识的人已经找了NIW推荐信，下次再联系EB1推荐信能找的人就少了；老板也
愿意支持PERM；国际学生中心老师建议说除非有99%的把握，不然还是应该走PERM。
自己现在也挺困惑，目前应该走PERM还是NIW呢？

i think wait for 6 months, apply EB1a directly. Use same materials apply NIW
if EB1a fails.
perm is not good. don't apply, NIW is much better than perm. Additionally,
postdoc can not apply perm.

谢谢你的回复。但感觉6个月后申请EB1a好像希望不大，相比引用上百的案例，我这个
要超过100再没有个一年半到两年估计也难；然后到时再申请NIW，这之间就白白浪费了
两年时间啊。
perm的话，我老板在过去至少已经给三个postdoc办过了，应该是可以实现的。
个人感觉就是perm和NIW排期都差不多，但perm应该是100%会通过，NIW从版上了解的
RFE还挺多，有时可能还不一定通过，不是100%保险。但又在犹豫是不是应该选择NIW，
因为NIW可以换工作，可根据目前情况，大概两年左右内应该不打算换工作，至少在提
交EB1A前不打算换吧。

I think it is OK for EB1a. only weakness is citation, but you have awards,
if your 三个专业协会的得奖 are the awards in the whole fields, you should be
qualified.
30 citations are OK, it is not the key. it is only part of the contributions.
you should try to study what kind of materials will be approved. read some
appeal letters, it will help you.
