收到485RFE，需要证明我的第一个H1b期间的status
准备了H1b的receipt和approval，还有我的paycheck和W2
但是律师现在说我的第一个H1b和第二个h1b之间transfer有gap，具体如下：
08/26收到第2个H1b申请的receipt，
08/31辞职前一个工作
09/08开始第2个工作，当中7天时间没有在payroll上，
是gap，请问这种情况有人遇到过吗？该如何解释？

I don't know the answer, but I feel that it shouldn't be a big deal, as
there's a saying that a gap less than 180 days for 485 is okay, let alone
that your second H1B receipt notice was received before your job transfer.
ch12 might know, and you could PM him.

我的观点和你一样，但是律师非要指出这点
Actually USCIS都没有问道这点。

I think between the ending date of last
H1b and the starting date of next H1b,
there should not be gap.

Do you mean that I do have a gap that I'm out of status?
the ending date of last h1b 797A is very late (2011) so there is definately
a long overlapping on two h1b 797A forms.
But I do have 7 days gap in two paychecks. Will that be a problem?
