我的每封推荐信都是象下面这样写的header。需不需要每封都不一样？比如说有些写“
Dear Sir，”等等。。。
移民局的地址都写什么，象下面这样行吗？谢谢！

yeah, it's better to be different. Otherwise you can imagine that it's
nearly impossible, if not by ..., for all the people around the world to
have the same format, right?
You can vary the formatting, address block location, fonts, and on and on.
"US Department of Justice"? It's "Department of Defense" ba?

谢谢truestory的回复！我写的那个header是从一封推荐信上copy下来的，我也不知道
应该是什么。header是不是没有明确的要求怎么写？完全随便推荐人自己？可能也不是
所有人都能弄明白“Department　of　Justice”和　“Department　of　defense”的
区别？写错了也无所谓？我看到的很多样本写什么header的都有，是不是没有统一要求
的？
另外，我如果把draft发给推荐人，我是不是应该让他们改好以后，打印到department
head　letter，签名了扫描给我发过来。如果他们有很大的改动（改差了），我也没
法和他们商量，只能这封信不能用了？请指教！谢谢！

"写错了也无所谓？" A few typos are normal and fine. You can use square
brackets to mark those corrected typos in the PL.

that there's no 统一要求, there should not be a 统一要求. That's what I
meant earlier.

Yes. So at the beginning when you request such a letter, you can say briefly
that this letter is for green card purpose only, and many people understand
. Some people like to revise it to be in their style, but not to make it
worse, and that's very good. Well, if some people don't like your contents,
then you can just say "thanks" and move on.
