作为有几年工作经验的backend sde，还是没做mapreduce之类的实际经验。面backend
system position总被问到这些，老实说没做过，很有兴趣学。有什么妙的回答么？

EB1-a 求评估. 万分感谢!
1) PhD in Environmental Engineering. Working for a company as engineer, not
research related.
2) Paper: 5 published, 3 still in advisor's hand (for almost 2 years)
3) Citiation: total 160 (self <10). 30 for a first-authored paper, 120 for a
second-authored paper.
4) Review: 13 completed for 5 journals. Just received a review invitation
from NSF for a proposal.
No patent, no media report.
Is there any chance for me to pass EB1-A now? Do I have to wait after the
three papers get published? I have EB-2 I-140 approved with PD in Nov 2010,
but there is an immediate opennning matching my background very well and the
hiring company told me they want PR or citizens :(

如果人家正在用着, 招experienced通常希望进来就上手
说有兴趣和很快学会没用
自己突击一下, 至少能回答别人问题
然后被问到, 没见你以前project用过, 你可以说, 我自己有兴趣自学的... 可以过关

这个，稍微问一下就知道几斤几两吧，临时抱佛脚的水平。比如，以我自己做民工的经
验，讨论一下db transaction的latency和处理，就知道对方这方面的经验了。
mapreduce，hadoop这种东西不是家里两个电脑可以捣鼓的吧。。。开发个ios iphone
app自学一个月差不多可以吹一下了。

--mapreduce，hadoop这种东西不是家里两个电脑可以捣鼓的吧
为啥不行呢
弄个linux, 在 virtual machine 上也可以, 上个 hadoop , 有空就折腾折腾
