俺家ld好些年前刚来美国还没几天就身体不舒服去医院看急诊。
然后在医院直接申请了medicare,后来2000多刀的急诊费也免了
请问这个会影响她绿卡申请吗？
485上这个问题是填yes or no?
Have you received any public assistance in the United States from any source
, including the US government to any state, county, city, or municipality...
..?

The following may not be considered as public charge:
Medicaid and other health insurance and health services (including public
assistance for immunizations and for testing and treatment of symptoms of
communicable diseases; use of health clinics, short-term rehabilitation
services, and emergency medical services) other than support for long-term
institutional care
- If you got a Medicaid for short-term, say "No"

这个回答是错误的。你应该回答yes，并且提供相关信息。哪怕你的结论是这不算
public charge，但是那个问题并没有问你是否曾经成为public charge。问题只是问你
是否用过public assistance。是否是public charge是由移民官基于你提供的信息和法
律条文来决定的。而不是由申请人自己决定的。就好比485也会问你是否曾被逮捕过。
假如你曾因无证驾驶而被捕过。但是无证驾驶确实又不构成485被拒的合法理由。这不
表示你可以回答no.因为表格的问题问的是是否存在一个事实，表格没有问你你是否认
为有哪些会影响你的485不被批准的事实。这完全是两回事。
