现在找到一个工作，公司在帮申请H1B，但是现在还是F1，这中间有一段很长的gap，刚

你现在有CPT了吗？有的话应该可以吧。没有的话，你还要申请CPT，这个和H1会不会有

还没有，但是H1B也要10月才能下来，这段时间肯定还是F1身份，而且不一定能下来，
所以觉得去实习一下不然也没事干，我也不知道会不会有什么麻烦

When are you graduating? CPT can be applied only before your graduation. CPT
does not need to go through USCIS, so it's much simpler than OPT. Your
international student office need to handle it. You can consult with them,
too.

我是在读，但是准备quit，所以没有OPT,要等H1B,没有之前不能去工作，所以先去实习
，不然就可以直接用OPT去工作了

school without changing your existing F status in anyway, but do ask your
international student's office to make sure.
Also, think twice on whether you want to quit, as you can still finish your
degree while working. H visa allows you to study.

谢谢您的回复，我咨询了下学校国际学生办公室，但是他们也只是说最好要我通知一下
公司的办H1B的相关人员，因为可能会被查询，说it depends on you.
另外在职读困难太大了，学校和公司相隔太远，我已经有个国内的硕士了，再读个硕士
意义不大，在职读个博士难度太了了，谢谢

公司的办H1B的相关人员，因为可能会被查询，说it depends on you.
