大家好，看要求说，eb1b的offer letter必须标明职位是永久性的，如果一开始拿到的
offer letter没有这么写，是不是申请eb1b的时候还要再重新开一份offer letter,对
申请有没有影响？

多谢答复，一般开始的offer letter好像都不会这么写，是不是后面可以让公司重开一
份offer letter上面写上scientist的title，以及permanent的职位？我的意思是重开
的 offer letter和你实际上班时间不一样有没有影响？

My 485 RFE is caused by offer letter. They specially pointed out that the
job is full time, and "permanent "

I just update the signature and title date, but the offer
start date is the old one. I don't know it will work or not.

搭车同问：如果offer letter上写了tenure-track assistant professor，还需要单开
一个新的信吗？

That is what i did. New signature date and old starting date.
It worked for my 140 eb1b.
I was worried about this letter since it looked strange: offering someone a
position which already started years ago.
But somehow, it turned out fine.
