不好意思，估计是老问题了。烦劳再问问，移民局网站说的是5年但住满2年半，可是似
乎并没有说能不能拿到绿卡刚过两年半就能申请呢？好像是漏洞的说。。。

my understanding is, during the following 5 years, the total time that you
could stay in USA should be more than 2.5 yrs,which means in some cases, you
may have to stay out of US for couple months and return back for another
over 6 months,as to keep your green card valid..
BUT, you have to wait for 5 years before applying for citizenship...
am i correct ?

这是两个独立的条件：
- 拿到绿卡后满5年；和
- 5年内住满2年半。
两个条件必须都满足才行。
- 拿到绿卡后满5年；和

5年后再申请入籍肯定是没问题的。关键就是想知道能不能2年半就申请。听有人说是技
术移民（eb-2）的话就可以早申请入籍。。。。求解读。

local library一般都有介绍入籍的参考书
都是律师行写的，可以借阅参考一下，里面有的信息以前还真的不知道

只有婚姻移民可以提前到三年，其他的都要五年。
