刚拿绿卡不久。最近找工作，填一个表时说要declare是否注册过
Military Selective Service。结果Google了一下发现拿了绿卡后，
有法律规定一定要注册这个东西。注册完了，好像要是战争了什么的，
就有可能通过draft的方式抓去当兵。

从没听人说起过这个东西。谁知道情况给解释下？多谢了。

Yes you should register for selective service program if you are a male
between 18-25
Otherwise you are violating the law and your subsequent N400 may be denied
However I strongly doubt anyone who get thru eb1a will be younger than 25,
except their dependents

男的26岁以后拿的绿卡就不用理会这个了.

not registering SS is the main reason for N400 denial for young male. But if
you don't want to naturlize by the age of say 30, 31, or need to natualize
as early as possible to sponsor wife's GC, not that big a deal.
