老公有一个月产假,但必须连着休, 一年内有效. 他其他还有些vocation,floating
holiday 之类,有好几周.
月子里请了月嫂,公婆也会在, 但他们都无法开车.
老公该何时休产假呢? 如果月子中休,好象有点浪费.但刚生好又必须让他开车(我因各
种原因必须剖腹产). 也许让他先请两周假(vocation)比较好?

我朋友的母亲（母亲）若干年前改嫁了一个美国公民（继父）
半年前朋友继父去世了（疑似小说情节）
现在母亲在和继父的家人办手续，朋友在东部某学校F1读大学。
现在母亲还可以移民拿绿卡吗？朋友他今年5月满21岁，还有机会申请作为他妈妈的儿
子同时申请绿卡吗？

为啥月子里面休会觉得浪费呢？我觉得那应该是最需要他帮助的时候把

主要想到公婆,月嫂走之后,可能更需要他. 我计划3个月之后上班.

Yeah I agree. That's why they almost forgot about it before the step-father
went away.
But does it seem worth a try for now? I don't know if there is any known
similar case.

不是的，从你去医院那天开始休！！！你生了之后，他要在医院照顾你，他要来回医院
家里跑，给你送饭；回家之后要能帮你换换手，抱孩子，更主要的作用是安抚你。我虽
然没有blue,但是撕裂的伤口疼的厉害，刚回家就哭了一下；上下床很不方便，这时候
全靠老公给倒水，被给我孩子喂奶等等。相信我，劳工的作用在前两周是不能替代的。

If I-130 was approved when citizen husband was alive, the mother can try
substitute I-864 sponsor. If I-130 never even started when citizen
husband was alive, the only chance is humanitarian purpose in this category,
in this case it is probably easier to go through asylum or withholding
removal than I-130.
What is mother's immigrant visa status now?

既然你朋友的母亲若干年前就改嫁了美国公民，为什么她还不是绿卡呢，按说结婚后
马上就可以那临时绿卡，一起生活两年后就可以拿正式绿卡，再3年后就成公民了呀
！

通过I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant 来弄。有
听说过相关案例吗？

貌似朋友后爹不喜欢美国（才来中国长住的，10几年，母亲在中国遇到他，两人从来没
一起“回”过美国）
所以似乎借助他申绿卡是不合情理/“利用感情”的
大概如此

I-360+I-485 concurrently and see what happens.

I've look into the catagory, it's called IW-1, and IW-1's holder is IW-2.
