Finally, I make a quantitative comparison of my scholarly achievements to
the faculty at XXX. XXX is ranked #1 out of a total of XXX U.S. research
universities surveyed for the XXX Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index in “
XXX”. According to the survey, the faculty at XXX had XXX journal
publications per person in “XXX”, counting over the three-year period
before the survey; and XXX citations per person in “XXX”, counting over
the four-year period before the survey (Exhibit XXX). In comparison, I had
XXX journal publications during the three-year period of XXX, and XXX
citations over the four-year period of XXX. The comparison shows that I am
at the same high level of the XXX faculty in terms of the number of journal
publications over a given length of time (XXX compared to XXX), while I far
exceed the XXX faculty in terms of total citations over a given length of
time (XXX compared to XXX). Since the comparison is to the faculty at the #1
university (out of XXX U.S. research universities) in “XXX”, the
comparison clearly places my scholarly achievements within top XXX% in my
field.
In summary, the evidence in the record and additionally submitted supports
that I have met at least three of the ten regulatory criteria. The evidence
collectively shows that I have sustained national and international acclaim
throughout my research career, and I am one of that small percentage who has
risen to the very top of the field of XXX research.
