EB1 10月恢复current，那赶在10月前提交并得到批准的140比在10月之后批准的，除了
时间上提前一点，还有啥好处吗？

140批准了再交485心里有底气啊。
不过PP+cc在处理速度上会稍微快一点。

当然要等到140批准之后再交485，但我不是说的这个。

as long as PD is current, you can file I-485, whether I-140 is approved or
pending is irrelevant.

difference/advantage between the approval of I-140 before October and after?

the earlier you file I-485, the earlier you can enjoy I-485 benefits such as
EAD/AP and AC21 porting, and you get an earlier RD (matters when you need
to do SR based on processing time)

基本不会有区别
如果明年八九月（也许更早）又出现485的排期，把cut off的日期定为16年10月1日的
可能性几乎为0
到时候还是没交的都不能交，交了的都不能批

Sure, but besides "being earlier", is there any other advantage of I-140
being approved before OCTOBER than after? Thanks.
