刚从学校internatinoal center回来，学校的h1b advisor照着显示器一条条的读规定
（看得出他以前没办过此类case），说我的h1b不能extent，因为h1b一年内六年期限就
到了。并说如果有priority date要等才能file485的类别才能file h1b exension。
是这样的么？ 我怎么记得140 （1a）过了就能延期h1b的啊？

我之前和单位的律师聊的时候，也说，只有那些现在不current的，交不了485才能去办
一年一年的续，我是485 pending，然后过了一会儿说研究了下，如果绿卡在pending也
可以续。。

谢谢回复！那我得赶快file485了，一旦file了就能续h1b了么？还是那种等了一年以上
的？

我觉得只要140批准了就可以续的，这一直是我的理解
according to 这个
In limited circumstances, H1B visa status can be extended beyond 6 years if:
1. The foreign national is the beneficiary of an approved I-140 petition.
2. The foreign national is the beneficiary of a PERM petition or I-140
petition that was filed over 365 days ago.
3. The foreign national is recapturing time spent outside the US during the
past 6 years in H-1B status.
所以让学校再去学习一下吧。。
