I'm implementing web service for a project. We did it in SOAP over HTTP and
investigating the possiblity of SOAP over SMTP - while there are a lot
materials about SOAP over HTTP, I find almost no useful materials covering
SOAP over SMTP.
Any high hand can point some directions? Many thanks.

can be used to send SOAP messages. To implement those as a learning process is
one thing, while to implement them as a serious application is another. So,
please 谅解人家一下。

Thanks - but I was there before posting my initial msg.
My understanding is that Apache SOAP is a dead project (at least not very
active) and has been replaced by Axis - By the way, the links there to IBM's
SMTP and POP3 bean suites won't work any more, and nowhere to download those
jars.
Actually I am specifically looking for SOAP over SMTP impl/config examples for
Axis1.x - google did not give me ANY useful info.
Good thing is that Axis2 is released and better documented, and contains much
mor
