create a window with a form in it by drag & drop in JBuilder and make it
show up when running and take a look at the source code

understand its event handling model and major patten it use can help you
write fast Swing app.
Swing make you easy to write junk program, then people complain swing sucks,
so slow. Actully it's the programmer suck.
