Java最大的优点是跨平台和open source，是不是大部分Java开发的工具都是free，特
别是用Sun的Netbean，没有仔细看其中的条款，不知道是不是跟GNU一样，如果程序用
了GNU的部分，如果用在商业用途上，就需要交钱了。不过好像微软的Visual J没有这
些问题。
请大虾指教。

Not really, your developement is not restricted by any license unless
you use the 3rd party's source code, or ship their binary with your
distribution. So use Eclipse or Netbean for development itself won't limit
you.
However, if you include open source code in your project, either source or
binary, then you have to check license. GNU is a restricted one, but most
java open source are under LGPL, which means you can distribute them for
free,
as long as you leave all the headers and license as is

You'd better do some in-depth study of various open source licenses,
like GPL, LGPL, BSD, MIT, Apache, MPL, Creative Common etc.

多谢楼上的宝贵意见。
关于用第三方的source code或binary code，肯定是需要check第三方的license, 那如
果用netbean 或者 eclipse得插件什么的，应该是没有问题吧。
