确实对新手特别是spring一头雾水的很好用，
做简单的Web application比较好。
对于复杂的Enterprise App有什么弊端吗？
把DAO去掉了全放在Entity里有点aggressive?
用过的遇到什么问题了吗？
特别是开发全面展开的时候？

音译是transcription吧？transliteration好像是鲁迅的硬译的意思，每个字按字面翻
译。意译是不是paraphrasing. 查到一个free translation，也不错。

这算个rapid development tool能从database生成code，感觉和commercial的tools比
还是差了不少。

在persistence layer上，
Roo生成的也都是aspects,
看着怎么还是不舒服，
aspect code维护debug也是个问题啊。
要我说，
它应该直接Weave成code,
而不是把这些aspects exposed to users.
不知道你说的什么commercial tools,
生成entities一般Eclipse里的Hibernate tools就够用了吧。

We used to have a appfuse, which is similar to Spring roo, to build a
full fledged application. Once things get beyond the very basic and get
interesting, you need to understand their boil-plate codes. But they are
fairly well written and I, as a new-comer, learned from their codes.
