Many bugs exist in JDK. inprise has nothing to do with that.

I like emacs+jde combination, more convinient than buggy IDE.

JB8 usesjdk1.4. so I am feeling it is faster than JB7, and interface is much
better. Especially the new wheel mouse support, very convinient.
Checked requirement for JB9, damn, at least 512MB, recommend 768MB, it is too
much memory.
Persenally, I think JBuilder represents the best java GUI using Swing and
threads.

some prefer eclipse, but its debugger is very unstable, those are as good
as we can get for java IDE, right?

Yes, but that is for the code you programmed, JBuilder itself is complied
under one version of JDK. Otherwise, JB6 can also have wheel mouse support.

It is buggy, but I never use it to do GUI stuff. So it is OK for me, I like
the new UML refactor, EJB designer and archive builder, test client are pretty
cool too.
