it should generally work, I can use some other cellphone java thing,
but from google result, nokia seems to be using kjava, and toshiba, sanyo
with sprintpcs might be using BREW stuff... what ever....

nokia 3650? search 手机游戏 in google, huge amount of stuff available
for it... mostly from china.. I think.

what I am wondering is how to programming it... say..
whether I can use java to automatically send a xml
wrapped msg to my blutooth receiver or... ring the bell
of my homephone?

oh, my sprintpcs one has web access, basically some websites can send
short text msg which url in it, then I can download from the url...
or I can browse the webpage on my phone to download it.

It's usually J2ME (MIDP/CLDC), very few use stuff like KJava. But now it's
becoming unified. Most handset OS would also give you information about the
Java system information directly.
BTW: If you want to do a System.out.println("hello world"), it won't display
on the phone, because the standard output for most java phones are the data
connector (to be connected to the computer). Also, you need to put your app in
specific package before the phone would take it, which depends on the actual

BREW is not java, it's a QualCom product, mostly used by Verizon.

what ever, some program can run on my phone, luckily... the biggest
problem is that most problems are for lower resolution phones.
