辞了原来的工作，从一个海岸搬到另一个海岸。找工作。电话面试，有自己投的，也有
公司自己找来的，有一开口就问是否需要SPONSORSHIP，也有电面结束的时候问的，结
果都一样：直接被拒。猎头也一样，一听说需要就懒得代表我。刚开始每一个电面都
认真准备，听问题的时候都心跳跳的怕被问身份问题，被拒后还很难过，现在都被拒麻
木了。也有些气馁的感觉了。不知大家找工作的都怎样了？还有愿意SPONSOR的吗？

at least you have interviews you can worry about...
I had my first phone interview today, the HM did ask if I need H1b and they
do sponsor. But he indicated that if they find good candidates that don't
need H1b, they will hire them....totally makes sense but I still feel bad

pat pat. I know how you feel. The interviewer sill keeps the opportunity
open to you. That is good.
The HR interviewers who interviewed me told me they do not sponsor at all.
One interviewer, who is a manager, not HR, told me that he had tried very
hard to push HR to do sponsorship, but he did not succeed.True or false. It
does not matter.The result is the same for me.
Really hope the economy improves faster.

我已经好几个星期没电话了，确实很少sponsor的

I think you will find one soon. At the bigining of jobhunting of mine, as
soon as I mention the H1B sponsor, I will never hear anything from them.
Later, there are one or two company not mend to sponsor H1B. Finally you
will find one

公司有时候会OFFER CONTRACTOR，就是不给办身份，让你学生身份干一段时间看看。

I feel your pain. However after several months efforts, I got an offer from a company who's willing to sponsor my h1b and provide good pay.
Keep trying!Good luck!
