首先公司不看重paper，除非一些Research Lab。
第二你能不能得到phone interview很大部分因素是你的技能和公司要求是否match，所
以说简历写法很重要，对于一个工作qualification起码要有3，4个关键词match。
第三phone interview根本看不出你做的怎么样，他们只会问一下general的Research
Experience和你在团体中起到的作用，就算有几个技术问题也是比较肤浅的，真正具体
的课题细节电话根本讲不清楚，工作怎么样估计到onsite那轮才看得出来一些，不过都
到onsite，机会一般来说也比较大了。。
我说的大家觉得怎么样？？

本来就是这样
招人的时候都是希望找一个10项全能的
但是只要进去了，你就会发现，实际用的上的，就是最基本的
只要智力正常，随便谁都可以做。

还paper，我的简历上面根本不写paper

Papers and the university from which you graduate are very important in your
job hunting. Papers are the evidence to show your expertise in a certain
direction. Even if your job is for service, papers still count.

那你简历上列了很多paper么？？我为了让简历就控制在一页，就列了4篇paper。。

我的感觉也没用。。以前我们系几个一片一作都没得都找到了工作。。

Yes, you are right. People can find job without papers at all. This is
because the thesis research can provide credentials for their application.
However, if you can have tons of publications, you will be outstanding.
I listed 35 papers in my resume, in which almost all are first authors.
The HM said my skills and expertise are very diverse, and can handle many
works.

当faculty也不全看paper数量的。
还有专业，还有老板，还有学校。

Yes, school counts.
The HM talked with me about the schools from which his staff graduated ,
such as Purdue, Duke. The HM graduated from Georgia Tech.

我觉得要看还要看专业什么的。
反正我个人觉得应聘码工，列上几十篇paper，不是什么好事。
只能说明会灌水。
人家要的是写code的，不是会灌水。

For CS, paper is of no big use.
Your guys should focus on interview only.

确实有manager问我，你做了这么多research，我们的职位就是development
你确定你喜欢吗？问了我好久
找工业界非research lab的工作，建议要列就列两三篇paper足以

那master 发paper对找工作有用吗？我现在正在努力，但是不知道值不值得花时间在这
个上面？
