I missed the H1B cap, and the company is reluctant to use E-verify,
otherwise, I can use OPT extension to work.
If the company is not patient enough to wait till Oct, then I am done. Can't
believe all this is happening.
Anybody can shed some light as of what I could do at this point?

I had the same experience with you--the company doesn't want to join E-
verify and no OPT extension for me.
My previous company was a small one, not IPO yet. The HR refused to join
E-verify because the company doesn't want to disclose too much information
to the government... whatever reason they have.
