一个美国公司给了我offer，salary还空着，所以还没有正式签。
本来说好negotiate salary的那天，老板突然说让我attend a xxx training session
prior to deciding on whether or not we will be making an official offer to
you，
悲剧的是，这个培训在国外，我因为visa的原因不能参加这个培训。我发信解释原因了
，之后一个礼拜，他们一直没给我回信，给他们打电话，老板总是这个那个原因不能接
我电话。
xdjm们，这样的情况是什么原因啊？我应该怎么处理呢？

If I were you, (1) I would contact the hiring manager. (2) I would also ask
for an alternative. See if there are other options available. The purpose of
training session is to boost or enhance some of your skills. Ask if it is
possible to attend some classes at some local univ, etc.
(3) However, don't email them too often to leave an impression of bugging
them.

再回来。

Apart from 做好两手准备, I think you should also pay attention to the
conciseness of your communication. Never write a long email, but always
express to the point. Usually, I keep such messages with 150 words and read
it again and again before sending out.

你还处在面试阶段。首先你要参加那个training。其次，参加之后还不一定给你正式的
offer,还要看你的表现。

move on吧。应该是个骗子公司。先发offer，然后要求training，然后要求交training
fee，然后说training 不过，但给你重新教费重新training的机会。
你懂得~

我觉得LZ不应该因为visa问题把事情弄僵，你如果真的在乎这个offer,自己去办visa又
怎样呢，2周内肯定办的好。

他周2告诉我的，周5的飞机，机票都给我订了。。。
我看大使馆的visa interview appointment至少要1周以后，真倒霉：（

确实没有招过中国人。
之前，我和老板谈H1B什么的，老板还信誓旦旦的说，公司以前做过h1b，而且不会对你
的身份问题take advantage，blabla
当时给我感动的一把鼻涕一把泪的，
现在真的面对身份问题的麻烦了，不知道公司会不会意识到，招一个外国人确实比较繁
琐，不想要我了？
