最近陆陆续续开始有电面。各位有经验的人老师，请问一般电面之后多久会有消息啊？

I am posting this because I don’t know how to get my CPT. The current
university (2nd one) requires signatures from 3 persons—chair, program
coordinator, advisor to sign on the form.
My concern is the chair. He just came a few months ago. He doesn’t look
very nice—very calculating and somewhat tough.
I have several plans and written them down in order of desirability. (1) Try
to get CPT from the current program. (2) Try to get enrolled into another
program at the same university and start with CPT. It is ok to start with
CPT if the program demands that it is necessary at the very beginning. (3)
Get admitted into another university and start with CPT.
If you were me, how would you talk with the chair to get CPT? How would you
talk with the program director to get admitted and persuade him/her that it
is necessary to start the CPT?

我也刚电面。。。回信感谢人家，都没有人理我啊。。。感觉被分母了。。。

I went into this program because my first position was eliminated. I don't
think I have enough coursework to qualify for pre-opt. Next, pre-OPT
requires 2-3 month processing.
Right now, the offer is oral. Not official yet. And they want me to start
early. Obviously, pre-OPT will be too late. H1B premium processing might be
more desirable. The question is: they want me to start early.

目前我就在SC里面，问这事真的没用。面完后，发了感谢信，就move on吧。真心话，
首先事情太多太忙没空，而且很多因素都不可控，回了信没准给了你wrong message，
都是自找麻烦。最后SC真的没有义务回信。我也知道这个系统很无礼，很令人讨厌，我
当年也是这么过来的。没人去改变这个招聘系统，没办法。
