Here is my situation. Got an offer--> got LCA approved--> move on to H1
B premium processing.
I hired my own attorney. My attorney asked the HR for H1B documents with
boss' signatures and the check for H1 filing fee. The HR officer told my
attorney that she would send out the documents soon, but " the check will
still be a few weeks out because you all are new vendors."
The check is payable to department of homeland security. Why would they
do this? With a few weeks out, I will miss the starting day.
Some suggestions please. I have already contacted my attorney.
