Job Description:
Established, family oriented company has just purchased a new software
system and is seeking a Programmer in their Columbia, SC office to come in
and own this system.
Recently purchased a new software, Uluro. Uluro is a fully integrated
turnkey software platform that allows clients to create, output, and deliver
mission critical documents. Composition design, web proof, electronic file
submission, job management/ tracking, address cleansing, presort, and true
multi-channel delivery with full workflow automation are all built into the
platform. The result is a robust solution that allows our clients to
streamline processes and reduce costs.
Uluro will provide training through the website and this takes 2-3 days.
Company has 1200 jobs/clients that need to be set up and converted onto this
system and then maintained.
Looking for 3-4 years of experience but will consider less. Their current
system runs on Perl so any knowledge of this is a plus. Strong verbal and
written communication skills is required as this is a customer facing
position.
Required Skills:
3 - 4 years of programming experience is ideal – C, C++, Perl
Scripting Language experience is required
SQL 2008 is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills is required
Desired Skills:
· HTML is very helpful
· Manufacturing, Printing or Production Workflow industry
experience is a plus
· Comfortable laying out data, knowledge of regular expression
